Indwelling GOD of the Gita Enriches Humanity

(my speech from 2009)

We are we are… the youth of the nation, a nation that has lost all its youth with age.
It’s not that we’re not smart or don’t have what it takes, we just make mistakes.
And to the Friz from the bus that’s A-okay, get down, get messy so you can learn she’d say.
Sometimes we need those experiences and taste the consequences because we are seeking results
But there’s gotta be a limit or else we’re just increasing our faults
How long can we carry on aimlessly? Isn’t there something that explains how to live painlessly?
Yes there is my friend and she’s really old, but none before or after her have been so bold.
Her name is Ms. Geeta and she’s an amazing teecha if you just open her up, you’ll find the words of God
OMG are you serious? Yes. O M G is on the money, you just hit the gold
Ain’t nothing gon help you like what Arjun’s been told.

The Lord Himself states:
Aham atma gudakesa, sarva bhutasaya sthitah, aham adis cha madhyam cha, bhutanam anta eva cha (10.20) à I am the supersoul, o arjuna, seated in the hearts of all living entities. I am the beginning, the middle, and the end of all beings
Listen up Arjun, I’m the super soul and in the hearts of all that lives is where I reside. I am the start the finish and everything else inside.

Tam Tum Tum Dum tells you that it’s Intel Inside, makes you look at your PC & Mac with so much pride
But what about the Lord sitting in your heart, shouldn’t that alone give you some kind of jump start?
It may be hard to grasp but maybe that’s the task, is it too much to ask?
Our poor mind is at war, and we’ve gotta help it win by any means
We say Jay Yogeshwar! But don’t know what it means
It means victory to God but check this His win is our win too, ain’t that kinda coo?
To God this is victory:
Paritranaya sadhunam, vinasaya cha duskrtam, dharma samstapanarthya, sambhavanmi yuge yuge (4.8) à to deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I myself appear, millennium after millennium.
I come down for my devotee, and to show life lived ideally. I get rid of all the scum from now and the next millennium.

Observe the lives of Krishna and Ram, as they went from gaam to gaam
Giving out their alms, not money of course, but in thoughts and discourse
They showed how to live life, even with a wife they had no strife,
Killing demons left and right, displaying proper use of might.
Yet they were completely detached, unattached to their actions
While maintaining satisfaction, that’s what it’s all about.
Karmany evadhikaras te, ma phalesu kadachana, ma karma phala hetur bhur, ma te sango stv akarmani
(2.47) à you havea right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty

You have the right to perform, just no claim to the reward
Don’t consider yourself the cause cuz what comes from it ain’t yoz (yours)
So what’s the point of trying so hard and working all day?
If what we did yesterday won’t even be repaid?
I use up all of my energy so I can reap the fruit
But now you tell me I shouldn’t give a hoot?
To this God says fear not my son, for whatever you have done won’t ever come undone
All your efforts are banked you will surely be thanked
but only if you’re sure that your motive was pure
And that’s where GOD comes in, man He’s sitting within

How can Chris even think of beatin Ms. Rihanna
Maybe the mist of maya on the umberellaa aa aa is just too strong
Not recognizing He’s within keeps us in the wrong
Yet He promises me and He won’t ever leave the side of me
Indefinitely, not probably, even if I’m down like the economy
So people don’t worry, He is our only,
We won’t be lonely, not even if the sky is falling down.

So now if we have no fear and open up our ears and hear what humanity cries
People losing lives and not understanding why
They chasing after bills, fancy cars and homes in Beverly Hills
They want to be on MTV and think happiness comes from their mp3’s
Because it’s just human nature to follow the leader
Even God himself says there’s gotta be a teacher:

Yad yad acarati sresthas, tat tad evetaro janah, say at pramanam kurute, lokas tad anuvartate (3.21) à whatever action a great man performs, common men follow. And whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues
Whatever a great man does we do, whatever his great actions show we know right away and we jump on it the next day

We just gotta take caution on who we see as great;
There’s no doubt that Michael J. and MJ have had their moments
But there’s only been a few that go beyond amusements,
That transcend their 15 minutes of fame and establish their name
They are the likes of Swami V, the Mahatma Gandhi and of course our Dadaji
They have taken to heart that He resides in our Heart and given their lives for the lives of others
turned the strangers into brothers and enemy into family
Just think back to where it all came from, 5000 plus years ago
When an inquisitive mind didn’t mind having a go at the mighty divine
Because of his questions we know the secrets of life

Just like a knife is a tool we must make our egos cool enough to step in line
Right behind the Divine and become of one mind.

Bandhur atmatmanas tasy, yenatmaivatmana jitah, anatmanas tu satrutve, vartetatmaiva satru vat (6.6) à for him who has conqured the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest enemy.

If our mind isn’t in control then we might as well be troll, but if we are holding the reigns then no action or thought will be in vain.
Our responsibility begins with what’s sittin in the head, do purti puja before leaving the bed
So we can realize the truth and become the mighty youth that our ancestors keep looking to.

Give them peace by embracing the lease that our soul signed for this body and tell everybody what they need to hear, that God is right here and here and here and here.
Every white child quotes John 3:16 and knows what it means but what do we really know about
